Navigation Equipment

For surface targets detection, and for solving navigation tasks, SmAGB will be equipped with a M-1933 C NavNet FURUNO navigation radar. Set of delivery, besides proper navigation radar, will include:

  • Detector of the echo-sounder 525ST-MSDF NAVNET with a cable
  • Cable for coupling wih GPS (DGPS) receiver-indicator

The information from the echo-sounder and GPS will be reflected on the display of the navigation radar. All main equipment of navigation radar will be positioned in wheelhouse. For navigation the SmAGB will be equipped with GPS NAVSTAR receiver-indicator, gyrocompass ‘CRUIZ’ type, log, autopilot.

Communication Equipment

To provide communication with the bases, other ships, merchant vessels and land forces the SmAGB will be equipped with communication equipment, produced by “SAILOR” company.

Additionally on SmAGB there will be arranged three portable UHF radio stations. All external communication equipment will be placed in the wheelhouse. Internal communication between fighting posts (turrets, wheelhouse, engine compartment) and also connection with one of R-173M radion stations will be provided by AVSK1 (R-174) internal communication and commutation equipment.

Accommodation spaces of the boat and wheelhouse will be equipped with mini radio recorders (3 units).

Notes: About concrete type of communication equipment the Buyer inform boat designers during one month after adoption of the present specification.

Observation Equipment

For circular observation the wheelhouse will be equipped with port-lights of bulletproof glass. The SmAGB will have individual observation equipment (day/night binocoluars, etc)according to the Ukrainian Navy standards.

The internal television system for a visual control of the motor and gun compartments will be installed onboard the boat. The information from TV cameras will be reflected on the monitor in the wheelhouse.

Monitoring & Control of Combat System & Gears

For offshore navigation, remote control and monitoring behind the propulsion system in a wheelhouse the workplace of the navigator will be arranged. This workplace will be equipped with integrated bridge console with necessary instrument and gears of monitoring and control control panels and monitoring of propulsion units, guage GPS, control panels and monitoring of a steering system and navigating lights).

On wheelhouse the workplace of the boat’s commanding officer will be arranged for observation over the targets, distribution of a target destination for boat’s weapons, for usage of internal and external communication system.
