Sophisticated Protection
The continuing menace of the Somali Pirates with their sophisticated weaponry acquired with huge profits from their activities, has meant that catching them is more difficult and more dangerous than ever.
We can offer a wide range of vessels that could match anything the Pirates have. The popular ‘KALMAR’ is a 24m fast patrol vessel that can be armed with 50 calibre HMG and over the horizon missiles. Added to that the latest Electronics and a top speed of 45kts.
For something a little larger there is the OPV-88. An 84m Fast Patrol vessel with 21 Days endurance, 2500km range with added advantage of a Helipad. No need to go chasing all over the ocean with this vessel but you have the ability if required.
